Here at Froggie, we design our collections about a year in advance. We keep a close eye on trends in footwear but an even closer eye on what women around the globe are wearing and watch colour and trends which lead us off into an intentional direction for the range we are working on. For this SUM24/25 range we were very focussed on our South African woman and her lifestyle. She needs comfortable armour for her feet but, not at the expense of style. With this thought at the forefront of our mind we developed a range of styles on what we like to call our new Cloud Walker Footbed.
This footbed, as its name suggests, is simply Heavenly. It has that perfect amount of squish and flexibility under foot that you need for all day comfort. It has a Thermoplastic Rubber (TR) sole which is non-slip and shock absorbing, providing excellent cushioning and reducing foot fatigue. Aside from the comfort these soles, they are superbly durable and maintain shape in all-weather temperatures allowing them to withstand wear and tear. Our Cloud Walker sole has a very exaggerated tread which helps reduces slipping risks when walking on uneven ground but also helps with the flexibility of the footbed.

The famous double buckle sandal that seems to never get tired. A style that took the world by storm in the 90’s and has made a comeback in recent years. The double buckle style has been knocked off by every major clothing brand the world over. We decided to take inspiration of the trend and create our own Froggie 2 strap style with oversized gold buckles for our Cloud Walker. Our Cloud Walker sole only comes in black. We wanted to create a specific elevated look different from the Birk but with all our Froggie comfort technology. This is a great style for any width foot. Once you set your buckles to the desired width, it is simple slip-on slip off ease from there. It is versatile and glam and can be very dressy with the right outfit. Available in 3 leathers so far, Black, Cheetah and tobacco.

Thong sling CLOUD WALKER ( 12692 )
With all the comfort of our Cloud Walker footbed and TR sole, we have this thong sling style in leather. It is an elevated version of a flipflop and looks great with all summer frocks, shorts, linen trousers and even jeans. Again, the gold buckle gives it that little elevated glam pop so you can dress it up or down. This is an unlined leather upper that softens and moulds to your foot over time. Available in chestnut and white leather.

Grecian CLOUD WALKER ( 12690 )
Dropping soon is this triple Velcro Grecian style sandal. It is like a stylish version of a strop (remember those?). This style just screams “Take me on a European Summer Holiday”. With all the cloud walker comfort under foot, the Velcro straps are a dream for all width feet. It sits snugly on your skin with a soft lining and leather upper. It will be available in Black, Tan and metallic Pewter leather. The metallic is a showstopper.
